La distribution se distingue par ses exigences de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 accrues et est compil\u00e9e avec la protection SSP (Stack Smashing Protection). OpenRC est utilis\u00e9 comme syst\u00e8me d'initialisation, et son gestionnaire de paquets apk est utilis\u00e9 pour la gestion des paquets. Alpine est utilis\u00e9 pour cr\u00e9er des images officielles de conteneurs Docker et dans le projet PostmarketOS. Des images ISO amor\u00e7ables (x86_64, x86, armhf, aarch64, armv7, ppc64le, s390x) sont pr\u00e9par\u00e9es en six variantes : standard (207 Mo), avec un noyau sans patches (204 Mo), \u00e9largie (957 Mo), pour <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/fr\/vps\/\"   title=\"machines virtuelles\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"2067\">machines virtuelles<\/a> (60 Mo) et pour l'hyperviseur Xen (239 Mo).     <\/p>\n<p>Dans cette nouvelle version :  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Le noyau Linux a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis \u00e0 jour vers la version 6.6 (la version pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente \u00e9tait livr\u00e9e avec le noyau 6.1).\n<li class=\"l\"> Les versions des paquets ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mises \u00e0 jour, parmi lesquelles des versions de GCC 13.2, LLVM 17, GNOME 45, LXQt 1.4, KDE Applications 23.08, KDE Frameworks 5.112, Perl 5.38, Xen 4.18, PostgreSQL 16, Node.js 20.10, Ceph 18.2, Go 1.21, OpenJDK 21, PHP 8.3, Erlang 26, Rust 1.72, yggdrasil 0.5, PipeWire 1.0.0.\n<li class=\"l\"> Ajout de la prise en charge des cartes Raspberry Pi 5.\n<li class=\"l\"> Le paquet iptables-nft est utilis\u00e9 par d\u00e9faut comme backend d'iptables.\n<li class=\"l\"> Les paquets de noyau pour Raspberry Pi 2 (linux-rpi2) et Raspberry Pi 4 (linux-rpi4) ont \u00e9t\u00e9 regroup\u00e9s en un seul paquet linux-rpi.\n<li class=\"l\"> Le r\u00e9pertoire contenant les paquets Python est d\u00e9sormais marqu\u00e9 comme g\u00e9r\u00e9 par un outil externe (l'utilitaire pip ne pourra plus installer de paquets dans le r\u00e9pertoire syst\u00e8me, dont le contenu est g\u00e9r\u00e9 par le gestionnaire de paquets apk).
