Il s'agit d'un fork de l'impl\u00e9mentation de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence du protocole NTPv4 (NTP Classic 4.3.34), ax\u00e9 sur la r\u00e9\u00e9criture de la base de code pour am\u00e9liorer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 (nettoyage du code obsol\u00e8te, mise en \u0153uvre de m\u00e9thodes de pr\u00e9vention des attaques, fonctions s\u00e9curis\u00e9es pour la gestion de la m\u00e9moire et des cha\u00eenes). Le projet est dirig\u00e9 par Eric Raymond avec la participation de certains d\u00e9veloppeurs de l'original NTP Classic, des ing\u00e9nieurs des entreprises Hewlett Packard et Akamai Technologies, ainsi que des projets GPSD et RTEMS. Les codes sources de NTPsec sont distribu\u00e9s sous les licences BSD, MIT et NTP.    <\/p>\n<p>Parmi les changements dans la nouvelle version :  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> L'alignement des paquets du protocole de commande Mode 6 a \u00e9t\u00e9 modifi\u00e9, ce qui peut entra\u00eener des probl\u00e8mes de compatibilit\u00e9 avec le NTP classique. Le protocole Mode 6 est utilis\u00e9 pour transmettre des informations d'\u00e9tat <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/fr\/server\/dts-los-angeles\/\"   title=\"de serveurs\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"3615\">de serveurs<\/a> et pour changer le comportement du serveur \u00e0 la vol\u00e9e.\n<li class=\"l\"> Dans ntpq, l'algorithme de chiffrement AES est utilis\u00e9 par d\u00e9faut.\n<li class=\"l\"> Un m\u00e9canisme Seccomp a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en place pour bloquer les noms de syst\u00e8me d'appels incorrects.\n<li class=\"l\"> Un r\u00e9initialisation statistique horaire a \u00e9t\u00e9 activ\u00e9e. Des fichiers journaux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9s pour enregistrer chaque heure des statistiques NTS et NTS-KE.
