Des compilations non officielles avec Xfce sont \u00e9galement form\u00e9es par la communaut\u00e9. Le syst\u00e8me de fichiers ZFS est utilis\u00e9 par d\u00e9faut dans GhostBSD. Il prend en charge \u00e0 la fois le fonctionnement en mode Live et l'installation sur disque dur (un installeur propri\u00e9taire ginstall, \u00e9crit en Python, est utilis\u00e9). Les images de d\u00e9marrage sont disponibles pour l'architecture x86_64 (2,5 Go).      <\/p>\n<p>Dans la nouvelle version :  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> La synchronisation avec la branche FreeBSD 14-STABLE a \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9e (la version pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente utilisait la branche FreeBSD 13.2-STABLE).\n<li class=\"l\"> Dans l'installateur, l'utilisateur cr\u00e9\u00e9 obtient d\u00e9sormais des droits administratifs, et le mot de passe d\u00e9fini pour cet utilisateur est \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9 pour l'utilisateur root.\n<li class=\"l\"> L'application Update Station a \u00e9t\u00e9 mise \u00e0 jour pour inclure la possibilit\u00e9 de mettre \u00e0 niveau le syst\u00e8me vers la prochaine branche majeure, c'est-\u00e0-dire qu'il est d\u00e9sormais possible de mettre
