Pour l'installation des programmes, le gestionnaire de paquets Nix est utilis\u00e9, stockant le r\u00e9sultat de la construction des paquets dans des sous-r\u00e9pertoires \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur de \/nix\/store et permettant l'utilisation de plusieurs versions d'un m\u00eame programme. La configuration des param\u00e8tres syst\u00e8me se fait via un seul fichier de configuration. La possibilit\u00e9 de revenir rapidement \u00e0 une version pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente de la configuration du syst\u00e8me est \u00e9galement offerte.    <\/p>\n<p>Le projet prend en charge trois d\u00e9p\u00f4ts :  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> nix \u2014 un fork du gestionnaire de paquets Nix avec des modifications pour adapter la compilation et le fonctionnement dans un environnement avec un noyau FreeBSD.\n<li class=\"l\"> nixpkgs \u2014 un fork de la collection de paquets nixpkgs avec des corrections pour le support de FreeBSD et l'ajout d'une nouvelle plateforme x86_64-freebsd.\n<li
