Le code de Stow est \u00e9crit en Perl et est distribu\u00e9 sous la licence GPLv3.      <\/p>\n<p>Stow adopte une approche simple et diff\u00e9rente des gestionnaires de paquets traditionnels pour le placement des paquets : tous les composants li\u00e9s \u00e0 un programme sont install\u00e9s dans un sous-r\u00e9pertoire d\u00e9di\u00e9 situ\u00e9 dans le r\u00e9pertoire \/usr\/local\/stow (par exemple, \/usr\/local\/stow\/emacs). La t\u00e2che de Stow consiste alors \u00e0 cr\u00e9er des liens symboliques dans la hi\u00e9rarchie des r\u00e9pertoires syst\u00e8me \/usr\/local et \u00e0 en assurer l'int\u00e9grit\u00e9.     <\/p>\n<p>Lors de la suppression d'un paquet, toutes les liens symboliques associ\u00e9s sont \u00e9galement supprim\u00e9s. \u00c0 l'int\u00e9rieur du r\u00e9pertoire \/usr\/local\/stow, les fichiers des programmes install\u00e9s restent toujours inchang\u00e9s, Stow ne g\u00e9rant que les liens symboliques. En plus de la gestion des paquets syst\u00e8me, il est possible de g\u00e9rer les programmes et fichiers de configuration (~\/.bashrc, ~\/.zshrc, etc.) dans le r\u00e9pertoire personnel de l'utilisateur.    <\/p>\n<p>Dans cette nouvelle version :  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Il est d\u00e9sormais possible d'utiliser l'option \u00ab \u2014dotfiles \u00bb avec des r\u00e9pertoires, ainsi qu'en combinaison avec l'option \u00ab \u2014compat \u00bb.\n<li class=\"l\"> La logique de suppression des paquets (unstowing) a \u00e9t\u00e9 am\u00e9lior\u00e9e et de fausses alertes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 supprim\u00e9es.\n<li class=\"l\"> La sortie de d\u00e9bogage a \u00e9t\u00e9 am\u00e9lior\u00e9e lors de l'utilisation de l'option \u00ab -v \u00bb (\u00ab \u2014verbose \u00bb).\n<li
