Les d\u00e9veloppeurs d'OpenSSH ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 s\u00e9parer sshd en plusieurs fichiers ex\u00e9cutables distincts. La premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape a \u00e9t\u00e9 l'ajout dans la base de code d'OpenSSH d'une modification qui extrait le processus sshd-session, responsable des t\u00e2ches li\u00e9es \u00e0 la gestion des sessions. Dans ce processus, sshd conserve les fonctions relatives \u00e0 la r\u00e9ception des connexions r\u00e9seau, la v\u00e9rification de la configuration, le chargement des cl\u00e9s d'h\u00f4te et la gestion des processus lanc\u00e9s selon le param\u00e8tre MaxStartups.
