Le SGBD permet de diviser les donn\u00e9es en parties et de les distribuer sur diff\u00e9rents serveurs \u2014 shards. Ce faisant, la solution offre une tol\u00e9rance aux pannes int\u00e9gr\u00e9e et garantit le respect des exigences ACID : atomicit\u00e9, coh\u00e9rence, isolation et durabilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><\/noindex><\/noindex> <\/p>\n<p>Dans cette nouvelle version, Postgres Pro Shardman a ajout\u00e9 de nouvelles fonctionnalit\u00e9s, am\u00e9lior\u00e9 les performances et corrig\u00e9 certains bogues. Parmi les changements cl\u00e9s :<\/p>\n<p><strong>Noyau et extensions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ajout du param\u00e8tre REMOTE \u00e0 la commande EXPLAIN, qui permet de rendre EXPLAIN sur les requ\u00eates ex\u00e9cut\u00e9es sur un serveur distant. Activ\u00e9 par d\u00e9faut.<\/li>\n<li>Mise en \u0153uvre d'une logique d'\u00e9valuation des co\u00fbts des plans. Cela permet au planificateur de choisir plus souvent des plans g\u00e9n\u00e9raux lorsqu'il y a des similarit\u00e9s entre le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral et le sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9.<\/li>\n<li>Ajout du support pour l'exclusion de sections lors de l'ex\u00e9cution pour les n\u0153uds de plan ex\u00e9cutant des agr\u00e9gations de donn\u00e9es sur des serveurs externes.
