La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Standard Intelligence a annonc\u00e9 la publication de hertz-dev, le premier mod\u00e8le AI open source pour la synth\u00e8se vocale en mode duplex int\u00e9gral, pouvant servir de base \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation de syst\u00e8mes de communication vocale en temps r\u00e9el ou \u00e0 la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de discours conversationnel. Le mod\u00e8le permet de produire une parole proche des donn\u00e9es vocales sur lesquelles il a \u00e9t\u00e9 form\u00e9, offrant une interaction dans un style similaire \u00e0 celui d'une communication humaine en direct sans les retards caract\u00e9ristiques d'une conversation t\u00e9l\u00e9phonique interrompue. Les avanc\u00e9es du projet sont distribu\u00e9es sous la licence Apache 2.0.

Sur un syst\u00e8me avec un GPU NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090, le temps de latence moyen avant la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration est de 120 ms (th\u00e9oriquement jusqu'\u00e0 65 ms), ce qui est environ deux fois plus rapide que les mod\u00e8les existants accessibles au public. La version publi\u00e9e est construite avec une architecture \u00ab transformeur \u00bb, couvre 8,5 milliards de param\u00e8tres et a \u00e9t\u00e9 entra\u00een\u00e9e avec 500 milliards de tokens.
