Le programme ratarmount (montage tar \u00e0 acc\u00e8s al\u00e9atoire) est con\u00e7u pour monter des fichiers d'archive dans le syst\u00e8me de fichiers et permet de monter via FUSE non seulement des fichiers tar (compress\u00e9s en bz2, gz, xz ou zstd) mais aussi des fichiers zip et rar. La nouvelle version 1.0.0 est disponible \u00e0 l'installation via pip et AppImage.<\/p>\n

Il existe plusieurs caract\u00e9ristiques qui distinguent ratarmount de l'archivemount existant. Tout d'abord, l'acc\u00e8s aux fichiers mont\u00e9s est en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 rapide, quelle que soit la taille de l'archive. Par exemple, pour des archives de 100 Go, nous parlons de millisecondes de latence avec ratarmount contre des heures de latence avec archivemount. De plus, ratarmount dispose d'un d\u00e9codeur bz2 et xz parall\u00e9lis\u00e9, et propose \u00e9galement des fonctionnalit\u00e9s avanc\u00e9es telles que la cr\u00e9ation d'un fichier d'index pour un acc\u00e8s ult\u00e9rieur rapide, le montage agr\u00e9g\u00e9, le montage li\u00e9 et m\u00eame le montage r\u00e9cursif profond arbitraire.<\/p>\n
