La distribution est autant que possible binaire compatible avec Red Hat Enterprise Linux et peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e comme alternative \u00e0 RHEL 10 et CentOS 10 Stream. Les images d'installation ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9par\u00e9es pour les architectures x86_64, x86_64_v2, ARM64 (aarch64), IBM PowerPC (ppc64le) et IBM Z (s390x).    <\/p>\n<p>La liste des nouveaut\u00e9s d'AlmaLinux 10 peut \u00eatre consult\u00e9e dans l'aper\u00e7u des modifications propos\u00e9es dans RHEL 10-beta. En termes de fonctionnalit\u00e9s, AlmaLinux 10 reprend RHEL 10, \u00e0 l'exception du rebranding et des diff\u00e9rences suivantes :  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Des constructions distinctes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 form\u00e9es pour la deuxi\u00e8me version de l'architecture micro x86-64 (x86-64-v2), qui sont accompagn\u00e9es parall\u00e8lement des builds de base x86-64, form\u00e9es avec des optimisations pour l'architecture x86-64-v3, utilis\u00e9e dans RHEL 10. Un support suppl\u00e9mentaire pour x86-64-v2 permet d'assurer la compatibilit\u00e9 avec les CPU plus anciens qu'Intel Haswell et AMD Excavator, con\u00e7us avant 2013.\n<li class=\"l\"> Le registre processeur %rbp est de nouveau utilis\u00e9 comme pointeur de base pour la trame de la pile, contenant les adresses de retour et les variables de la fonction (frame pointer). L'utilisation du pointeur de cadre de pile permet d'exploiter des fonctionnalit\u00e9s suppl\u00e9mentaires pour le tra\u00e7age et le profilage du syst\u00e8me dans le distributeur.      <\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Les impl\u00e9mentations serveur et client du protocole SPICE ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9tablies, permettant d'organiser le travail \u00e0 distance avec un bureau fonctionnant dans un environnement virtuel sous la gestion de QEMU\/KVM. Contrairement aux protocoles VNC et RDP, dans SPICE, le rendu du contenu de l'\u00e9cran et le traitement des flux audio sont effectu\u00e9s c\u00f4t\u00e9 client, et non sur <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/fr\/server\/dts-newyork\/\"   title=\"le serveur\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"2798\">le serveur<\/a>. Dans RHEL, le soutien pour SPICE a \u00e9t\u00e9 arr\u00eat\u00e9 dans la version 9.0.      <\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Il est d\u00e9sormais possible d'utiliser un hyperviseur <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/fr\/vps\/abuzoustojchivye-vps\/\"   title=\"KVM\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"4433\">KVM<\/a> sur des syst\u00e8mes avec des processeurs IBM POWER. Dans RHEL, un tel soutien a \u00e9t\u00e9 interrompu dans la branche 9.0.\n<li class=\"l\"> Le d\u00e9p\u00f4t inclut des paquets rpm avec Firefox et Thunderbird (dans CentOS Stream 10 et RHEL10, il est propos\u00e9 d'installer Firefox et Thunderbird \u00e0 partir de paquets au format flatpak).      <\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Le support de 144 p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques mat\u00e9riels, non pris en charge dans RHEL 10, a \u00e9t\u00e9 restaur\u00e9. Le projet est soutenu par une organisation \u00e0 but non lucratif distincte, l'AlmaLinux OS Foundation, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e pour le d\u00e9veloppement sur une plateforme neutre avec la participation de la communaut\u00e9 et en utilisant un mod\u00e8le de gestion similaire \u00e0 celui du projet Fedora.
