La version 2024.1 de Siduction est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e, une distribution Linux orient\u00e9e vers le bureau, bas\u00e9e sur le d\u00e9p\u00f4t instable Debian Sid. Siduction s'est s\u00e9par\u00e9 du projet Aptosid en 2011 en raison du souhait de fournir des versions r\u00e9centes de KDE \u00e0 partir du d\u00e9p\u00f4t exp\u00e9rimental Qt-KDE. Aptosid, \u00e0 son tour, s'est s\u00e9par\u00e9 de la distribution Sidux en 2010 \u00e0 cause d'un conflit entre d\u00e9veloppeurs. Des images sont disponibles pour KDE (3,5 Go), Xfce (2,7 Go) et LXQt (3 Go), ainsi qu'une version minimaliste \u00ab noX \u00bb (1 Go) et une version Xorg (2 Go) pour les utilisateurs souhaitant configurer leur environnement de travail. Les versions Siduction 2024.1 avec GNOME, Cinnamon et MATE ne sont pas disponibles en raison de l'absence de support (ces environnements peuvent \u00eatre install\u00e9s \u00e0 partir du d\u00e9p\u00f4t). <\/p>\n

Dans cette nouvelle version, la base de paquets a \u00e9t\u00e9 synchronis\u00e9e avec le d\u00e9p\u00f4t Debian Unstable. Les versions du noyau Linux 6.12, du gestionnaire de syst\u00e8me systemd 257 et de l'installateur Calamares ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mises \u00e0 jour. Parmi les environnements de bureau propos\u00e9s, on trouve KDE Plasma 6.2 utilisant Wayland par d\u00e9faut (la pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente version utilisait la branche KDE 5), LXQt 2.1 et Xfce 4.20. Le support du syst\u00e8me de fichiers Btrfs a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tendu, incluant l'outil Snapper pour la gestion des instantan\u00e9s, utilis\u00e9 dans SUSE Linux. La possibilit\u00e9 d'utiliser le chargeur d'amor\u00e7age systemd-boot avec des partitions Btrfs a \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9e, en plus de GRUB. <\/p>\n
