La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Oracle a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 une version pr\u00e9liminaire de la distribution Oracle Linux 10, bas\u00e9e sur l'architecture de paquets de Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 et pleinement binaire compatible avec celle-ci. Une image ISO d'installation est propos\u00e9e pour un t\u00e9l\u00e9chargement sans restriction, pr\u00e9par\u00e9e pour les architectures x86_64 et ARM64 (aarch64). Pour Oracle Linux 10, un acc\u00e8s illimit\u00e9 et gratuit au d\u00e9p\u00f4t yum avec des mises \u00e0 jour binaires de paquets corrigeant des bugs (errata) et des probl\u00e8mes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 est ouvert. Des d\u00e9p\u00f4ts s\u00e9par\u00e9s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9par\u00e9s avec des ensembles de paquets Application Stream et CodeReady Builder, ainsi qu'un d\u00e9p\u00f4t avec des noyaux UEK-next. <\/p>\n

En plus du paquet avec le noyau issu de RHEL (bas\u00e9 sur le noyau 6.11), Oracle Linux propose son propre noyau Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel Next (UEK-Next), bas\u00e9 sur le noyau Linux 6.12 et optimis\u00e9 pour fonctionner avec les logiciels et le mat\u00e9riel Oracle. Le code source du noyau, y compris sa r\u00e9partition en patchs distincts, est disponible dans le d\u00e9p\u00f4t Git public d'Oracle.
