Cette version est marqu\u00e9e comme ayant un niveau de qualit\u00e9 d'alpha-test, non destin\u00e9 \u00e0 un usage quotidien. Les compilations sont pr\u00e9par\u00e9es au format Flatpak (pour l'instant, seul l'archive avec le code est disponible).           <\/p>\n<p>La branche Pidgin 3 est en d\u00e9veloppement depuis 2011, et a \u00e9t\u00e9 discut\u00e9e pendant trois ans au niveau des concepts et des id\u00e9es auparavant. Pidgin 3 a effectu\u00e9 la transition vers le syst\u00e8me de types GObject, les biblioth\u00e8ques GTK4 et Adwaita, le syst\u00e8me de construction Meson, GPlugin pour le traitement des plugins, SQLite pour le stockage de l'historique des discussions, et GSettings pour la gestion des param\u00e8tres. L'API a \u00e9t\u00e9 enti\u00e8rement remani\u00e9e. Le XML de GTK Builder a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 pour d\u00e9finir les \u00e9l\u00e9ments de l'interface, et une biblioth\u00e8que de widgets Talkatu a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e pour afficher l'historique des discussions.        <\/p>\n<p>L'interface combine d\u00e9sormais dans une seule fen\u00eatre la liste des contacts et le chat. La distribution du client en ligne de commande Finch a \u00e9t\u00e9 arr\u00eat\u00e9e (il n'est pas exclu qu'il puisse revenir \u00e0 l'avenir). Pour le moment, seul le protocole IRCv3 est pris en charge, tandis que de nouvelles impl\u00e9mentations des protocoles XMPP et Bonjour sont en d\u00e9veloppement, mais sont encore partiellement prises en charge. La branche Pidgin 3 n'est pas compatible avec Pidgin 2 et les plugins cr\u00e9\u00e9s pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment, mais peut \u00eatre install\u00e9e parall\u00e8lement aux compilations existantes de Pidgin 2.      <\/p>\n<p>Parmi les changements dans la mise \u00e0 jour pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e :  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Lors de la tri des participants, les autorisations sont d\u00e9sormais prises en compte.
