Les t\u00e2ches r\u00e9alis\u00e9es par cette distribution sont similaires \u00e0 celles du produit propri\u00e9taire Norton Ghost. La taille de l'image ISO de la distribution est de 484 Mo (amd64). <\/p>\n
La distribution est bas\u00e9e sur Debian GNU\/Linux et utilise le code de projets tels que DRBL, Partition Image, ntfsclone, partclone, udpcast. Le d\u00e9marrage est possible \u00e0 partir de CD\/DVD, USB Flash et via le r\u00e9seau (PXE). LVM2 et les syst\u00e8mes de fichiers ext2, ext3, ext4, reiserfs, reiser4, xfs, jfs, btrfs, f2fs, nilfs2, FAT12, FAT16, FAT32, NTFS, HFS+, UFS, minix, VMFS3 et VMFS5 (VMware ESX) sont pris en charge. Un mode de clonage en masse via le r\u00e9seau est disponible, y compris avec le trafic multicast, permettant de cloner simultan\u00e9ment un disque source sur un grand nombre de machines clientes. Le clonage peut \u00eatre effectu\u00e9 d'un disque \u00e0 un autre ou bien la cr\u00e9ation de sauvegardes via la sauvegarde d'une image disque dans un fichier.
