Les d\u00e9veloppeurs d'ALT Linux ont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 un nouveau configurateur pour GNOME \u2014 Tuner, visant \u00e0 simplifier l'extension des fonctionnalit\u00e9s et \u00e0 fournir des options suppl\u00e9mentaires. Tuner est cens\u00e9 \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 par les distributions fournissant GNOME pour cr\u00e9er des configurateurs responsables de la modification des param\u00e8tres sp\u00e9cifiques \u00e0 la distribution. Par exemple, pour ALT Linux, un plugin TunerPanel a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9, permettant de basculer entre le mode panneau (style GNOME 2) et le mode standard de l'interface GNOME. <\/p>\n

Le programme met en \u0153uvre une architecture bas\u00e9e sur des plugins, permettant d'ajouter de nouvelles sections de r\u00e9glages, de modifier l'interface et d'\u00e9tendre les fonctionnalit\u00e9s via la fourniture de plugins distincts sans modifier le code de l'application principale. Le moteur libpeas, d\u00e9j\u00e0 utilis\u00e9 dans les applications GNOME Gedit et Totem, est employ\u00e9 pour cr\u00e9er des plugins. <\/p>\n

Parmi les caract\u00e9ristiques de Tuner, mentionnons \u00e9galement la simplification de l'int\u00e9gration avec GSettings. \u00c0 l'instar de l'application GNOME Refine, Tuner propose un m\u00e9canisme pour cr\u00e9er des widgets utilisant le langage de construction d'interfaces Blueprint. Ces widgets permettent de lier des r\u00e9glages sp\u00e9cifiques dans GSettings \u00e0 des \u00e9l\u00e9ments d'interface cr\u00e9\u00e9s pour les modifier. <\/p>\n

Le code du projet est \u00e9crit en Vala et est distribu\u00e9 sous la licence GPLv3. L'interface utilisateur est construite en utilisant la biblioth\u00e8que libadwaita, respecte les recommandations GNOME HIG (Human Interface Guidelines) et peut s'adapter \u00e0 la taille de l'\u00e9cran.
