Le probl\u00e8me se manifeste dans les configurations o\u00f9 la taille maximale des param\u00e8tres file-size et scan-size est \u00e9gale ou sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 1024 Mo et 1025 Mo respectivement. L'exploitation de la vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 est possible \u00e0 partir de la version 1.0.0 et peut conduire \u00e0 l'ex\u00e9cution de code avec les droits du processus ClamAV.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2025-20234 \u2014 une erreur dans le code d'analyse des fichiers au format UDF, entra\u00eenant la lecture de donn\u00e9es \u00e0 partir de la zone m\u00e9moire en dehors du tampon allou\u00e9. Ce probl\u00e8me peut entra\u00eener un plantage du processus ou une fuite de donn\u00e9es de la m\u00e9moire vers un fichier temporaire. La vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 se manifeste \u00e0 partir de la version 1.2.0.\n<li class=\"l\"> Acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la m\u00e9moire apr\u00e8s sa lib\u00e9ration dans le module de d\u00e9compression des archives au format xz (CVE non assign\u00e9). Ce probl\u00e8me est caus\u00e9 par une erreur dans la biblioth\u00e8que lzma-sdk int\u00e9gr\u00e9e au code ClamAV, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 corrig\u00e9e dans le projet principal avec la version lzma-sdk 18.03, publi\u00e9e en 2018 sans mention de la correction de la vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9.
