La premi\u00e8re version b\u00eata de l'utilitaire Term.Everything a \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9e, permettant d'afficher n'importe quelle application graphique dans une fen\u00eatre d'\u00e9mulateur de terminal. Parmi d'autres fonctionnalit\u00e9s, le programme permet de lancer des applications graphiques dans le terminal lors d'un acc\u00e8s \u00e0 un syst\u00e8me distant via SSH. Le code du projet est distribu\u00e9 sous la licence AGPL 3.0, \u00e9crit en TypeScript et s'ex\u00e9cute sur la plateforme Bun. Les builds termin\u00e9es sont format\u00e9es en AppImage. <\/p>\n

Techniquement, Term.Everything est un serveur composite bas\u00e9 sur le protocole Wayland, organisant la sortie non pas sur l'\u00e9cran, mais dans une fen\u00eatre de terminal. Pour convertir les images en caract\u00e8res Unicode appropri\u00e9s avec des s\u00e9quences d'\u00e9chappement ANSI, simulant des graphiques dans le terminal, la biblioth\u00e8que chafa est utilis\u00e9e. Les frappes de touches et les \u00e9v\u00e9nements de mouvement de la souris dans le terminal sont traduits en \u00e9v\u00e9nements d'entr\u00e9e Wayland. <\/p>\n

Sur les terminaux prenant en charge l'extension pour la sortie graphique bitmap, comme kitty, Ghostty, Konsole, wezterm et iTerm2, la sortie est presque indistinguable de l'ouverture dans une fen\u00eatre normale.
