L'organisation \u00e0 but non lucratif Rust Foundation, qui s'occupe du d\u00e9veloppement et du soutien du langage Rust et de son \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me, a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 l'initiative \u00ab Maintainers Fund \u00bb pour financer les d\u00e9veloppeurs qui cr\u00e9ent Rust et qui assurent le maintien du projet. <\/p>\n

Il est \u00e0 noter que le langage Rust ne peut pas se d\u00e9velopper, rester s\u00fbr et fonctionner sans des mainteneurs effectuant des t\u00e2ches telles que la r\u00e9vision des pull requests et la refactorisation, alors que le travail de ces personnes est souvent sous-estim\u00e9 et bas\u00e9 uniquement sur l'enthousiasme. Le financement aidera les participants dont d\u00e9pend le d\u00e9veloppement de Rust \u00e0 continuer leur travail, \u00e0 \u00e9viter l'\u00e9puisement professionnel (1, 2, 3) et \u00e0 recevoir le soutien qu'ils m\u00e9ritent. <\/p>\n

Les fonds pour le nouveau fonds seront attir\u00e9s par le biais de contributions cibl\u00e9es. Les participants qui recevront un financement seront s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s en tenant compte des souhaits de la communaut\u00e9 et de la d\u00e9cision du conseil d'administration, selon l'\u00e9tat du projet et les besoins existants. Le processus de r\u00e9partition des fonds sera transparent et sous le contr\u00f4le de la communaut\u00e9 \u00e0 tous les niveaux.
