Dans la base de code de Firefox, sur la base de laquelle sera publi\u00e9 Firefox 147 le 13 janvier, des modifications ont \u00e9t\u00e9 apport\u00e9es pour faire du r\u00e9pertoire \u00ab ~\/ .config \/mozilla \u00bb le r\u00e9pertoire par d\u00e9faut pour le stockage des profils, des extensions, des param\u00e8tres et des bases de donn\u00e9es internes sur les syst\u00e8mes de type UNIX (le cache avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9plac\u00e9 vers \u00ab ~\/ .cache \/mozilla \u00bb). Ce changement a \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9 pour aligner le navigateur avec la sp\u00e9cification Freedesktop.org XDG Base Directory (la demande de modification a \u00e9t\u00e9 examin\u00e9e depuis 2004).
