La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Oracle a publi\u00e9 la distribution Oracle Linux 9.7, bas\u00e9e sur la base des paquets de Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.7 et enti\u00e8rement compatible sur le plan binaire avec celle-ci. Des images iso d'installation, d'une taille de 13 Go et 1,3 Go, pr\u00eates pour les architectures x86_64 et ARM64 (aarch64), sont propos\u00e9es pour un t\u00e9l\u00e9chargement sans restrictions. Pour Oracle Linux 9, un acc\u00e8s illimit\u00e9 et gratuit au d\u00e9p\u00f4t yum avec des mises \u00e0 jour binaires de paquets corrigeant des erreurs (errata) et des probl\u00e8mes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 est ouvert. Des d\u00e9p\u00f4ts pris en charge avec des ensembles de paquets Application Stream et CodeReady Builder sont \u00e9galement pr\u00e9par\u00e9s pour le t\u00e9l\u00e9chargement. <\/p>\n

En plus du paquet noyau issu de RHEL (bas\u00e9 sur le noyau 5.14), Oracle Linux propose son propre noyau Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel 8.1 (UEK 8.1), bas\u00e9 sur le noyau Linux 6.12 et optimis\u00e9 pour fonctionner avec le logiciel industriel et le mat\u00e9riel d'Oracle. Les sources du noyau, y compris la fragmentation en patches individuels, sont disponibles dans le d\u00e9p\u00f4t Git public d'Oracle. Le noyau Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel est install\u00e9 par d\u00e9faut, se positionne comme une alternative au paquet noyau standard RHEL et offre un certain nombre de fonctionnalit\u00e9s avanc\u00e9es, telles que l'int\u00e9gration de DTrace et un meilleur support de Btrfs.
