L'alliance AOUSD (Alliance for OpenUSD), supervis\u00e9e par la Linux Foundation, a publi\u00e9 la sp\u00e9cification OpenUSD Core Specification 1.0, d\u00e9finissant un format universel et un langage pour d\u00e9crire des sc\u00e8nes 3D, optimis\u00e9 pour la collaboration sur du contenu 3D. La sp\u00e9cification est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e comme une norme ouverte pour la cr\u00e9ation de contenu 3D et l'\u00e9change de donn\u00e9es entre diff\u00e9rents \u00e9diteurs 3D et plateformes. Des entreprises telles que Pixar, Lucasfilm, Adobe, Apple, Amazon, Autodesk, NVIDIA, Sony, Intel et Meta ont particip\u00e9 au d\u00e9veloppement de cette sp\u00e9cification. Des entreprises comme Hexagon, PTC, Renault, Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Amazon, IKEA, Epic Games, Cesium et Esri ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 soutenir cette norme. <\/p>\n

La sp\u00e9cification couvre la description de la grammaire et des types de donn\u00e9es ; le mod\u00e8le de repr\u00e9sentation et de transformation des donn\u00e9es ; l'algorithme de composition ; les m\u00e9thodes de cr\u00e9ation et de navigation dans le graphe de la sc\u00e8ne ; les m\u00e9thodes de requ\u00eate des valeurs pour chaque objet de la sc\u00e8ne ; les formats de fichiers USDA (repr\u00e9sentation lisible), USDC (format binaire) et USDZ (format d'archive) pour l'\u00e9change de donn\u00e9es ; et des outils pour tester et v\u00e9rifier la conformit\u00e9 aux exigences de la sp\u00e9cification. Un exemple de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence de mise en \u0153uvre d'OpenUSD a \u00e9t\u00e9 propos\u00e9 pour simplifier la v\u00e9rification de la compatibilit\u00e9 avec la norme. <\/p>\n

Le projet OpenUSD, lanc\u00e9 par Pixar il y a neuf ans, fournit des outils pour encoder des donn\u00e9es \u00e9volutives, hi\u00e9rarchiquement li\u00e9es, statiques et r\u00e9parties dans le temps. OpenUSD comprend un ensemble d'op\u00e9rateurs pour la composition, la gestion des ressources, le traitement multi-couches et la gestion des liens de fichiers, permettant de relier une s\u00e9rie de ressources disparates en une sc\u00e8ne graphique unique, tout en conservant la possibilit\u00e9 de traiter et de remplacer chaque ressource s\u00e9par\u00e9ment.
