Ce lancement est marqu\u00e9 comme ayant un niveau de qualit\u00e9 d'alpha pr\u00e9liminaire, non destin\u00e9 \u00e0 un usage quotidien. Les builds sont pr\u00e9par\u00e9s au format Flatpak et h\u00e9berg\u00e9s dans le d\u00e9p\u00f4t beta sur Flathub.         <\/p>\n<p>La branche Pidgin 3 est en d\u00e9veloppement depuis 2011, apr\u00e8s trois ans de discussions au niveau des concepts et des id\u00e9es. Pidgin 3 a transitionn\u00e9 vers un syst\u00e8me de types GObject, biblioth\u00e8ques GTK4 et Adwaita, syst\u00e8me de build Meson, GPlugin pour le traitement des plugins, SQLite pour le stockage de l'historique des chats et GSettings pour la gestion des param\u00e8tres. L'API a \u00e9t\u00e9 compl\u00e8tement refaite. Le GTK Builder XML est utilis\u00e9 pour d\u00e9finir les \u00e9l\u00e9ments de l'interface, et une biblioth\u00e8que de widgets Talkatu a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e pour afficher l'historique des chats.        <\/p>\n<p>L'interface de Pidgin 3 fusionne la liste des contacts et le chat dans une seule fen\u00eatre. La fourniture du client en ligne de commande Finch a \u00e9t\u00e9 arr\u00eat\u00e9e (il n'est pas exclu qu'il soit r\u00e9introduit \u00e0 l'avenir). Actuellement, les mises en \u0153uvre des protocoles IRCv3, XMPP, SIP, Demo et Bonjour sont en d\u00e9veloppement.
