La version 17.0 du distrbuteur Linux minimaliste Tiny Core Linux a \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9e, capable de fonctionner sur des syst\u00e8mes disposant de 48 Mo de RAM. L'environnement graphique du distributeur est construit sur la base du serveur X Tiny X, du toolkit FLTK et du gestionnaire de fen\u00eatres FLWM. Le distributeur se charge enti\u00e8rement dans la RAM et fonctionne \u00e0 partir de la m\u00e9moire. L'image ISO de d\u00e9marrage occupe seulement 20 Mo. Une version CorePure64, d'une taille de 25 Mo, a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9par\u00e9e pour les syst\u00e8mes 64 bits. Une version CorePlus (288 Mo) est \u00e9galement fournie, comprenant plusieurs paquets suppl\u00e9mentaires tels qu'un ensemble de gestionnaires de fen\u00eatres (FLWM, JWM, IceWM, Fluxbox, Hackedbox, Openbox), un installateur permettant l'installation d'extensions suppl\u00e9mentaires ainsi qu'un ensemble d'outils pr\u00eat \u00e0 l'emploi pour assurer la connexion r\u00e9seau, y compris un gestionnaire pour configurer les connexions Wifi. <\/p>\n
