La premi\u00e8re version de FRANK OS a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9e \u2014 un syst\u00e8me d'exploitation pour les ordinateurs bas\u00e9s sur le microcontr\u00f4leur RP2350, construit sur FreeRTOS. Le syst\u00e8me d'exploitation prend en charge un environnement de bureau avec une interface utilisateur graphique et assure une compatibilit\u00e9 partielle avec l'interface POSIX. Le code source est \u00e9crit en C et est disponible sous la licence GPL-3.0+. <\/p>\n

Le mat\u00e9riel prend en charge les claviers et les souris avec interface PS\/2, les cartes m\u00e9moire Secure Digital et la sortie d'image sur des moniteurs DVI. Il est possible de fonctionner sur les cartes Raspberry Pi Pico 2 et FRANK M2. Le syst\u00e8me d'exploitation permet d'ex\u00e9cuter des fichiers au format ELF et garantit la compatibilit\u00e9 avec les applications pour Murmulator OS 2. <\/p>\n

Gr\u00e2ce au planificateur de t\u00e2ches de FreeRTOS, la pr\u00e9emption multi-t\u00e2ches avec s\u00e9paration des t\u00e2ches pour les entr\u00e9es, le compositing, l'USB et les applications est mise en \u0153uvre. Un environnement de bureau est fourni avec un support pour les fen\u00eatres superpos\u00e9es, le menu, la barre des t\u00e2ches avec le menu Strat, le d\u00e9placement des objets \u00e0 la souris. Le package comprend des programmes tels qu'un gestionnaire de fichiers graphique, un \u00e9mulateur de terminal multi-onglets et un interpr\u00e9teur de commandes interactif. Le syst\u00e8me utilise FAT32 comme syst\u00e8me de fichiers.
