Joomla offre des fonctionnalit\u00e9s telles que des outils de gestion des utilisateurs et des fichiers multim\u00e9dias, la prise en charge de la cr\u00e9ation de variantes de pages multilingues, un syst\u00e8me de gestion des campagnes publicitaires, un annuaire d'utilisateurs, des sondages, une recherche int\u00e9gr\u00e9e, un syst\u00e8me de cat\u00e9gorisation des liens et de suivi des clics, un \u00e9diteur WYSIWYG, un syst\u00e8me de mod\u00e8les, la gestion des flux d'actualit\u00e9s, une API XML-RPC pour l'int\u00e9gration avec d'autres syst\u00e8mes, la mise en cache des pages et une collection d'extensions. Le code du projet est \u00e9crit en PHP et est distribu\u00e9 sous la licence GPLv2.      <\/p>\n<p>Les changements cl\u00e9s dans la nouvelle version :  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Un nouveau plugin de protection contre les bots (Proof-of-Work CAPTCHA) a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en place, qui ne d\u00e9pend pas des API tierces et effectue la v\u00e9rification en ex\u00e9cutant des calculs math\u00e9matiques en arri\u00e8re-plan (bruteforce de hachages), de mani\u00e8re transparente pour l'utilisateur.
