La base de paquets est bas\u00e9e sur Fedora Linux. Des builds sont cr\u00e9\u00e9s pour les architectures x86_64 et ARM64 (Aarch64). Bien que principalement orient\u00e9e vers une utilisation dans AWS (Amazon Web Services), la distribution est \u00e9galement fournie sous la forme d'une image universelle de machine virtuelle, qui peut \u00eatre lanc\u00e9e sur un syst\u00e8me local ou dans d'autres environnements cloud.    <\/p>\n<p>Parmi les changements par rapport \u00e0 la version pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente Amazon Linux 2023 :  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Lors de la cr\u00e9ation d'Amazon Linux 2027, des composants issus de Fedora 44 et 45 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9s, de nombreux paquets comprenant des modifications sp\u00e9cifiques \u00e0 Amazon Linux ou \u00e9tant accompagn\u00e9s s\u00e9par\u00e9ment de Fedora.\n<li class=\"l\"> Un noyau Linux personnalis\u00e9 est utilis\u00e9, bas\u00e9 sur la branche 7.1, et int\u00e8gre de nouveaux pilotes pour les dispositifs Elastic Network Adapter (ENA) et Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA), ainsi que le mat\u00e9riel utilis\u00e9 dans l'infrastructure Amazon EC2. Les mises \u00e0 jour du noyau Linux sont publi\u00e9es en utilisant la technologie \u00ab live patching \u00bb, qui permet de corriger les vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9s et d'appliquer des correctifs importants au noyau sans red\u00e9marrer le syst\u00e8me. La v\u00e9rification des modules du noyau par signature num\u00e9rique est activ\u00e9e.\n<li class=\"l\"> Les paquets ont \u00e9t\u00e9 reconstruits avec les options \u00ab -O2 -ftree-vectorize \u00bb et avec des optimisations au moment de la liaison (LTO) pour les architectures x86-64-v3 (-march=x86-64-v3, utilisant les instructions AVX et AVX2) et ARM 8.2 (-march=armv8.2-a+crypto -mtune=neoverse-n1).\n<li class=\"l\"> Les composants syst\u00e8mes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mis \u00e0 jour, y compris GCC 16.1, Clang\/LLVM 22, OpenSSH 9.9p1, OpenSSL 3.5, glibc 2.44, binutils 2.46, systemd 260, Python 3.14.\n<li class=\"l\">Le gestionnaire de paquets RPM 6.0 et l'outil DNF5 sont utilis\u00e9s par d\u00e9faut pour la gestion des paquets, dont la fonctionnalit\u00e9 de base a \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9par\u00e9e dans une biblioth\u00e8que distincte libdnf5, rempla\u00e7ant les liaisons avec PackageKit.
