La part des programmes dangereux t\u00e9l\u00e9charg\u00e9s sur Google Play a augment\u00e9 de 0,02 % \u00e0 0,04 % en 2017 au cours de la p\u00e9riode examin\u00e9e. Si l'on exclut les cas de fraude au clic de cette statistique, on peut constater une diminution significative des t\u00e9l\u00e9chargements potentiellement dangereux. Le rapport mentionne \u00e9galement que Google doit faire face \u00e0 la difficile t\u00e2che de prot\u00e9ger plus de 2 milliards d'appareils fonctionnant sous Android. Il est soulign\u00e9 que le syst\u00e8me d'IA Google Play Protect, cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 2017 et capable de scanner plus de 50 milliards d'applications chaque jour, a consid\u00e9rablement contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des utilisateurs. Ce syst\u00e8me continuera d'\u00eatre utilis\u00e9, devenant un outil de plus en plus perfectionn\u00e9 dans la lutte contre les logiciels malveillants. Il est \u00e0 noter que le nombre total d'installations d'applications dangereuses a diminu\u00e9. En 2018, ce chiffre repr\u00e9sentait 0,45 % du total, tandis qu'il \u00e9tait de 0,56 % l'ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente.<\/p>\n

Malgr\u00e9 les efforts d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s pour prot\u00e9ger les appareils Android, les logiciels malveillants continuent d'appara\u00eetre sur Google Play, en changeant de d\u00e9veloppeur et de nom. Il n'est pas rare qu'une application dangereuse soit bloqu\u00e9e uniquement apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 t\u00e9l\u00e9charg\u00e9e par des millions d'utilisateurs.
