Les d\u00e9veloppeurs de Google ont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 une nouvelle m\u00e9thode d'authentification \u00e0 deux facteurs, utilisant un smartphone Android comme cl\u00e9 de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 physique.<\/p>\n

Beaucoup ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 confront\u00e9s \u00e0 l'authentification \u00e0 deux facteurs, qui n\u00e9cessite non seulement la saisie d'un mot de passe standard, mais aussi l'utilisation d'un second outil pour v\u00e9rifier l'identit\u00e9. Par exemple, certains services envoient un SMS contenant un code g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 apr\u00e8s la saisie du mot de passe utilisateur, permettant ainsi d'effectuer l'autorisation. Il existe \u00e9galement une m\u00e9thode alternative d'authentification \u00e0 deux facteurs, qui utilise une cl\u00e9 mat\u00e9rielle physique comme YubiKey, n\u00e9cessitant son branchement \u00e0 l'ordinateur pour s'activer.  <\/p>\n

Les d\u00e9veloppeurs de Google proposent d'utiliser un smartphone Android comme cl\u00e9 mat\u00e9rielle. Au lieu d'envoyer une notification \u00e0 l'appareil, le site web tentera d'acc\u00e9der au smartphone via Bluetooth. Il est important de noter que cette m\u00e9thode n'exige pas de connecter physiquement le smartphone \u00e0 l'ordinateur, le champ d'action du Bluetooth \u00e9tant suffisamment large. Par ailleurs, la probabilit\u00e9 qu'un attaquant puisse acc\u00e9der au smartphone tout en \u00e9tant dans la port\u00e9e de la connexion Bluetooth est extr\u00eamement faible.  <\/p>\n

Pour le moment, cette nouvelle m\u00e9thode d'authentification est support\u00e9e uniquement par certains services Google, notamment Gmail et G-Suite. Un smartphone fonctionnant sous Android 7.0 Nougat ou une version plus r\u00e9cente est n\u00e9cessaire pour un fonctionnement correct.<\/p>\n
