Mir reste demand\u00e9 dans les projets de Canonical et est d\u00e9sormais positionn\u00e9 comme une solution pour les appareils embarqu\u00e9s et l'Internet des objets (IoT). Mir peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 comme serveur composite pour Wayland, permettant d'ex\u00e9cuter dans des environnements bas\u00e9s sur Mir toutes les applications utilisant Wayland (par exemple, celles construite avec GTK3\/4, Qt5 ou SDL2). Des packages d'installation ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9par\u00e9s pour Ubuntu 16.04\/18.04\/18.10\/19.04 (<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/launchpad.net\/~mir-team\/+archive\/ubuntu\/release\">PPA<\/a><\/noindex>Deep Speech <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/copr.fedorainfracloud.org\/coprs\/ngompa\/mir-prerel-fedora\/\">Fedora 28\/29\/30<\/a><\/noindex>.<\/p>\n<p>Dans cette nouvelle version :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Dans les outils permettant de lancer des applications Wayland dans l'environnement Mir, le nombre d'extensions de protocole Wayland prises en charge a \u00e9t\u00e9 augment\u00e9. Les extensions wl_shell, xdg_wm_base et xdg_shell_v6 sont maintenant activ\u00e9es par d\u00e9faut. Les extensions zwlr_layer_shell_v1 et zxdg_output_v1 peuvent \u00eatre activ\u00e9es s\u00e9par\u00e9ment. Le travail a commenc\u00e9 pour permettre la d\u00e9finition d'extensions de protocole Wayland personnalis\u00e9es pour les interfaces graphiques bas\u00e9es sur Mir. La premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape de cette possibilit\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 l'ajout d'un nouveau paquet libmirwayland-dev, permettant de g\u00e9n\u00e9rer une classe pour son propre protocole et de l'enregistrer dans MirAL;\n<li class=\"l\"> Les capacit\u00e9s de la couche MirAL (Mir Abstraction Layer) ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tendues, permettant d'\u00e9viter l'acc\u00e8s direct au serveur Mir et d'abstraire l'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l'ABI via la biblioth\u00e8que libmiral. La classe WaylandExtensions a \u00e9t\u00e9 mise \u00e0 jour pour prendre en charge l'enregistrement d'extensions Wayland personnalis\u00e9es.
