Le projet propose un serveur de communication, int\u00e9grable avec des syst\u00e8mes de publication web, dot\u00e9 d'un syst\u00e8me d'identification transparent et de moyens de gestion des acc\u00e8s dans les r\u00e9seaux d\u00e9centralis\u00e9s Fediverse. Le code du projet est \u00e9crit en PHP et Javascript et <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/framagit.org\/hubzilla\/core\">est distribu\u00e9<\/a><\/noindex> sous licence MIT.<\/p>\n<p>Hubzilla supporte un syst\u00e8me d'authentification unique pour fonctionner comme un r\u00e9seau social, des forums, des groupes de discussion, des Wiki, des syst\u00e8mes de publication d'articles et des sites web. Un stockage de donn\u00e9es avec support WebDAV et un travail avec des \u00e9v\u00e9nements supportant CalDAV ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9s. <\/p>\n<p>L'interaction f\u00e9d\u00e9r\u00e9e se fait sur la base de son propre protocole <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/framagit.org\/zot\/zap\/blob\/dev\/spec\/Zot6\/Home.md\">ZotVI<\/a><\/noindex>, qui impl\u00e9mente le concept de WebMTA pour la transmission de contenu via le WWW dans des r\u00e9seaux d\u00e9centralis\u00e9s et offre un certain nombre de fonctionnalit\u00e9s uniques, notamment l'authentification transparente de bout en bout \u00ab Nomadic Identity \u00bb au sein du r\u00e9seau Zot, ainsi qu'une fonction de clonage garantissant des points d'entr\u00e9e et des ensembles de donn\u00e9es utilisateur enti\u00e8rement identiques sur diff\u00e9rents n\u0153uds du r\u00e9seau.
