Disponible<\/a><\/noindex> lancement du daemon Wi-Fi IWD 1.0<\/a><\/noindex> (iNet Wireless Daemon), d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par Intel comme alternative \u00e0 wpa_supplicant pour connecter des syst\u00e8mes Linux \u00e0 un r\u00e9seau sans fil. IWD peut servir de backend pour des configureurs r\u00e9seau tels que Network Manager et ConnMan. L'objectif principal du d\u00e9veloppement de ce nouveau d\u00e9mon Wifi est d'optimiser la consommation des ressources, telles que la m\u00e9moire et la taille du disque. IWD n'utilise pas de biblioth\u00e8ques externes et fait uniquement appel aux fonctionnalit\u00e9s fournies par le noyau Linux. Pour fonctionner, il n\u00e9cessite simplement le noyau Linux et Glibc. Le code du projet est \u00e9crit en langage C et est fourni<\/a><\/noindex> sous licence LGPLv2.1.<\/p>\n

Un changement significatif de version est d\u00fb \u00e0<\/a><\/noindex> la stabilisation de l'interface de gestion via D-Bus.
