Parmi les changements les plus notables :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>la possibilit\u00e9 d'attribuer des noms alternatifs aux interfaces r\u00e9seau,<\/li>\n<li>l'int\u00e9gration de fonctions cryptographiques issues de la biblioth\u00e8que Zinc,<\/li>\n<li>la possibilit\u00e9 de miroir sur plus de 2 disques dans Btrfs RAID1,<\/li>\n<li>un m\u00e9canisme de suivi de l'\u00e9tat des Live patches,<\/li>\n<li>le framework de tests unitaires kunit,<\/li>\n<li>une am\u00e9lioration des performances de la pile sans fil mac80211,<\/li>\n<li>la possibilit\u00e9 d'acc\u00e9der \u00e0 la partition racine via le protocole SMB,<\/li>\n<li>la v\u00e9rification des types dans BPF.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La nouvelle version comprend 15505 corrections de 1982 d\u00e9veloppeurs, la taille du patch \u2014 44 Mo (les modifications ont touch\u00e9 11781 fichiers, ajoutant 609208 lignes de code et supprimant 292520 lignes). Environ 44 % de toutes les modifications pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es dans la version 5.5 concernent les pilotes de p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques, environ 18 % des changements sont li\u00e9s \u00e0 la mise \u00e0 jour de code sp\u00e9cifique aux architectures mat\u00e9rielles, 12 % concernent la pile r\u00e9seau, 4 % aux syst\u00e8mes de fichiers et 3 % aux sous-syst\u00e8mes internes du noyau.<\/p>\n<p>Source
