Pour garantir la portabilit\u00e9, des parties du code provenant des projets OpenNTPD, OpenSSH et LibreSSL ont \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9es. En plus d'OpenBSD, le support pour Linux et FreeBSD a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9clar\u00e9. Le fonctionnement d'OpenBGPD a \u00e9t\u00e9 test\u00e9 sur Debian 9, Ubuntu 14.04 et FreeBSD 12. <\/p>\n<p>Le d\u00e9veloppement d'OpenBGPD est effectu\u00e9 avec <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=49682\">le soutien<\/a><\/noindex> du registre Internet r\u00e9gional RIPE NCC, qui est int\u00e9ress\u00e9 par l'extension des fonctionnalit\u00e9s d'OpenBGPD pour son utilisation sur des serveurs de routage dans des points d'\u00e9change de trafic inter-op\u00e9rateurs (IXP) et pour cr\u00e9er une alternative compl\u00e8te au paquet <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/bird.network.cz\/\">BIRD<\/a><\/noindex> (parmi d'autres alternatives ouvertes avec une mise en \u0153uvre du protocole BGP, on peut noter les projets <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=46323\">FRRouting<\/a><\/noindex>, <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=44268\">GoBGP<\/a><\/noindex>, <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/Exa-Networks\/exabgp\">ExaBGP<\/a><\/noindex> et <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/bio-routing\/bio-rd\">Bio-Routing<\/a><\/noindex>). <\/p>\n<p>Lors du d\u00e9veloppement d'OpenBGPD, une attention particuli\u00e8re a \u00e9t\u00e9 accord\u00e9e \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et \u00e0 la fiabilit\u00e9 maximales. Pour la protection, une v\u00e9rification stricte de l'exactitude de tous les param\u00e8tres, des moyens de contr\u00f4ler le respect des limites de buffer, une s\u00e9paration des privil\u00e8ges et une restriction d'acc\u00e8s aux appels syst\u00e8me sont appliqu\u00e9s. Parmi ses avantages, on note \u00e9galement une syntaxe conviviale pour le langage de d\u00e9finition de configuration, une performance \u00e9lev\u00e9e et une efficacit\u00e9 de gestion de la m\u00e9moire (par exemple, OpenBGPD peut travailler avec des tables de routage comprenant des centaines de milliers d'enregistrements). Le projet prend en charge la majorit\u00e9 des sp\u00e9cifications BGP 4 et respecte les exigences de la RFC8212, mais ne s'efforce pas de tout couvrir et se concentre principalement sur le soutien des fonctionnalit\u00e9s les plus demand\u00e9es et r\u00e9pandues.<\/p>\n<p>La sortie d'OpenBGPD 6.6 pr\u00e9sente les am\u00e9liorations suivantes :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Pour am\u00e9liorer chemins s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s par le routeur BGP local pour annoncer les chemins optimaux, a \u00e9t\u00e9 convertie pour utiliser des arbres RB li\u00e9s aux chemins ;\n<li class=\"l\"> Le code pour le mappage des communaut\u00e9s a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9\u00e9crit, acc\u00e9l\u00e9rant consid\u00e9rablement le traitement des configurations avec plusieurs communaut\u00e9s et un grand nombre de pair.\n<li class=\"l\"> La commande &#8216;show mrt neighbors&#8217; a \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9e \u00e0 bgpctl pour afficher la table des routeurs BGP voisins au format  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\"
