La version ncurses 6.2 est compatible au niveau des sources avec les branches ncurses 5.x et 6.0, mais \u00e9tend l'ABI. <\/p>\n<p>Parmi les nouveaut\u00e9s, on note l'impl\u00e9mentation des extensions O_EDGE_INSERT_STAY et O_INPUT_FIELD, permettant d'ajouter un d\u00e9lai lors du d\u00e9placement du curseur entre les champs et de r\u00e9aliser le repliement dynamique des champs ne tenant pas dans les limites de taille actuelles. Des fonctions exit_curses et exit_terminfo ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9es pour suivre les fuites, ainsi que curses_trace pour remplacer trace(). Des optimisations de performance ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9es et le d\u00e9codage des \u00e9v\u00e9nements de la souris a \u00e9t\u00e9 am\u00e9lior\u00e9. Des gestionnaires pour les \u00e9mulateurs de terminal alacritty, domterm, kitty, mintty, mintty-direct, ms-terminal,<br \/>\n     n7900, nsterm-build309, nsterm-direct, screen5, ti703, ti707,
