Le programme r\u00e9sout le probl\u00e8me des donn\u00e9es r\u00e9siduelles dans les documents et fichiers multim\u00e9dias, qui peuvent \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9es comme ind\u00e9sirables pour la divulgation. Par exemple, des donn\u00e9es sur la localisation, l'heure de la prise de vue et l'appareil peuvent rester dans les photographies, des informations sur le type de syst\u00e8me d'exploitation et sur les programmes utilis\u00e9s pour les modifier peuvent figurer dans les images retouch\u00e9es, et dans les documents de bureau et les fichiers PDF, des d\u00e9tails sur l'auteur et l'entreprise peuvent subsister. Le code du projet est \u00e9crit en Python et <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/0xacab.org\/jvoisin\/mat2\">est distribu\u00e9<\/a><\/noindex> sous licence LGPLv3. Le projet propose une biblioth\u00e8que pour nettoyer les m\u00e9tadonn\u00e9es, un utilitaire en ligne de commande et un ensemble de plug-ins pour l'int\u00e9gration avec les gestionnaires de fichiers GNOME Nautilus et KDE Dolphin.<\/p>\n<p>Dans la nouvelle version :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Ajout du support pour les formats SVG et PPM;\n<li class=\"l\"> Int\u00e9gration assur\u00e9e
