Pr\u00e9sent\u00e9<\/a><\/noindex> version du serveur d'affichage Mir 1.7<\/a><\/noindex>, dont le d\u00e9veloppement se poursuit par Canonical, malgr\u00e9 l'abandon du d\u00e9veloppement de l'environnement de bureau Unity et de l'\u00e9dition Ubuntu pour smartphones. Mir reste en demande dans les projets de Canonical et est d\u00e9sormais positionn\u00e9 comme une solution pour les appareils embarqu\u00e9s et l'Internet des objets (IoT). Mir peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 comme serveur composite pour Wayland, ce qui permet de lancer dans des environnements bas\u00e9s sur Mir toutes les applications utilisant Wayland (par exemple, celles compil\u00e9es avec GTK3\/4, Qt5 ou SDL2). Des paquets d'installation ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9par\u00e9s pour Ubuntu 16.04-19.10 (PPA<\/a><\/noindex>Deep Speech Fedora 29\/30\/31<\/a><\/noindex>. Code du projet est distribu\u00e9<\/a><\/noindex> sous licence GPLv2.<\/p>\n

La nouvelle version propose principalement des corrections de bogues li\u00e9es au support exp\u00e9rimental du lancement d'applications X11 dans un environnement bas\u00e9 sur Wayland (Xwayland est utilis\u00e9). Pour X11, une possibilit\u00e9 de d\u00e9coration des fen\u00eatres a \u00e9t\u00e9 mise en \u0153uvre et une option a \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9e pour red\u00e9finir le chemin vers le fichier ex\u00e9cutable Xwayland. Un nettoyage du code li\u00e9 \u00e0 Xwayland a \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9. Dans l'une des prochaines versions, le support d'X11 perdra son statut de fonctionnalit\u00e9 exp\u00e9rimentale.<\/p>\n

La mise en \u0153uvre de la plateforme \u00ab wayland \u00bb, qui permet de lancer Mir en tant que client sous la gestion d'un autre serveur composite Wayland (ce serveur peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre le miral-system-compositor fourni avec Mir), a ajout\u00e9 la prise en charge de la configuration du redimensionnement de la sortie.
\nLa possibilit\u00e9 optionnelle de lancer des applications bas\u00e9es sur l'API mirclient au lieu du protocole Wayland est encore conserv\u00e9e, mais a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 supprim\u00e9e dans la branche master (auparavant, la suppression de l'API mirclient \u00e9tait emp\u00each\u00e9e par son utilisation dans UBports et Ubuntu Touch). <\/p>\n
