Cette nouvelle branche se distingue par son passage \u00e0 une base de paquets <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=51041\">Debian 10 \u00ab Buster \u00bb<\/a><\/noindex>. Pour le t\u00e9l\u00e9chargement <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/files.devuan.org\/devuan_beowulf\/\">pr\u00e9par\u00e9s<\/a><\/noindex> <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/files.devuan.org\/devuan_beowulf\/desktop-live\/\">Assemblages Live<\/a><\/noindex> et d'installation <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/files.devuan.org\/devuan_beowulf\/installer-iso\/\">images ISO<\/a><\/noindex>  pour les architectures AMD64 et i386. Les paquets sp\u00e9cifiques \u00e0 Devuan peuvent \u00eatre t\u00e9l\u00e9charg\u00e9s depuis le d\u00e9p\u00f4t <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/packages.devuan.org\/devuan\/\">packages.devuan.org<\/a><\/noindex>. <\/p>\n<p>Dans le cadre du projet, 381 paquets de Debian ont \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9s et modifi\u00e9s pour \u00e9liminer les d\u00e9pendances \u00e0 systemd, le rebranding ou l'adaptation aux sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9s de l'infrastructure Devuan. Deux paquets (devuan-baseconf, jenkins-debian-glue-buildenv-devuan)<br \/>\nn'existent que dans Devuan et sont li\u00e9s \u00e0 la configuration des d\u00e9p\u00f4ts et au fonctionnement du syst\u00e8me de construction. En dehors de cela, Devuan est totalement compatible avec Debian et peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 comme base pour cr\u00e9er des compilations sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es de Debian sans systemd.<\/p>\n<p>L'environnement de bureau par d\u00e9faut est bas\u00e9 sur Xfce et le gestionnaire d'affichage Slim. KDE, MATE, Cinnamon et LXQt sont \u00e9galement disponibles en option. <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/packages.devuan.org\/devuan\/pool\/main\/s\/sysvinit\/\">SysVinit<\/a><\/noindex>. En option <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/git.devuan.org\/dev1fanboy\/Upgrade-Install-Devuan\/wikis\/Devuan-without-dbus\">un mode de fonctionnement sans D-Bus est pr\u00e9vu, permettant de cr\u00e9er des configurations de bureau minimalistes bas\u00e9es sur les gestionnaires de fen\u00eatres blackbox, fluxbox, fvwm, fvwm-crystal et openbox. Pour la configuration r\u00e9seau, une option de l'outil NetworkManager, non li\u00e9e \u00e0 systemd, est propos\u00e9e. Au lieu de systemd-udev, un<\/a><\/noindex> , fork d'udev du projet Gentoo, est utilis\u00e9.
