Le 24 mars, sur son blog, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Mozilla a propos\u00e9 aux utilisateurs de Firefox de participer aux tests du service \u00ab Firefox Better Web with Scroll \u00bb, qui vise un nouveau mod\u00e8le de financement des sites.<\/p>\n

L'objectif du projet est de permettre l'utilisation d'un abonnement payant pour financer la cr\u00e9ation de contenu. Cela devrait permettre aux propri\u00e9taires de sites de se passer de publicit\u00e9. Le service est organis\u00e9 en partenariat avec le projet Scroll.<\/p>\n

Le mod\u00e8le fonctionne de la mani\u00e8re suivante : l'utilisateur paie un abonnement au service et peut naviguer sur des sites qui ont rejoint Scroll sans publicit\u00e9. Environ 70 % des revenus g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9s sont revers\u00e9s aux propri\u00e9taires de sites (ce qui repr\u00e9sente 40 % de plus que leurs revenus habituels g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9s par la publicit\u00e9).<\/p>\n
