Dans la nouvelle version de la licence pour XBPS, une clause a \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9e interdisant l'utilisation du nom XBPS et des noms des d\u00e9veloppeurs pour promouvoir des produits d\u00e9riv\u00e9s, sans obtenir une autorisation \u00e9crite sp\u00e9ciale. Ainsi, les d\u00e9veloppeurs de Void Linux ne pourront pas transf\u00e9rer les futurs changements du nouveau d\u00e9p\u00f4t XBPS sans renommer le gestionnaire de paquets ou obtenir un consentement explicite de Juan. Ils peuvent n\u00e9anmoins continuer \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper leur propre branche XBPS, qui reste sous licence BSD-2.<\/p>\n
