L'\u00e9lectronique bas\u00e9e sur des solutions en GaN, \u00ab \u00e0 partir de rien \u00bb, offre un gain de puissance et une port\u00e9e accrue pour les radars, ce dont les militaires ont imm\u00e9diatement tir\u00e9 parti.<\/p>\n

La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Lockheed Martin a d\u00e9clar\u00e9<\/a><\/noindex>, que les premi\u00e8res stations radar mobiles (RLS) bas\u00e9es sur des dispositifs \u00e9lectroniques en nitrure de gallium ont \u00e9t\u00e9 livr\u00e9es aux forces am\u00e9ricaines. En particulier, le radar AN\/TPQ-53 a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 contre les drones, y compris les petits appareils. L'identification des positions d'artillerie camoufl\u00e9es peut \u00eatre effectu\u00e9e soit dans un secteur de 90 degr\u00e9s, soit avec une vue circulaire \u00e0 360 degr\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Lockheed Martin est le seul fournisseur de radars \u00e0 r\u00e9seau d'antennes phas\u00e9es (AESA) pour les forces am\u00e9ricaines.
