Deux ans apr\u00e8s la derni\u00e8re publication pr\u00e9sent\u00e9<\/a><\/noindex> la sortie du client de messagerie instantan\u00e9e Pidgin 2.14<\/a><\/noindex>, prenant en charge des r\u00e9seaux tels que XMPP, Bonjour, Gadu-Gadu, ICQ, IRC et Novell GroupWise. L'interface graphique de Pidgin est \u00e9crite en utilisant la biblioth\u00e8que GTK+ et prend en charge des fonctionnalit\u00e9s telles qu'un carnet d'adresses unique, un fonctionnement simultan\u00e9 sur plusieurs r\u00e9seaux, une interface bas\u00e9e sur des onglets, une gestion des avatars et une int\u00e9gration avec la zone de notification de Windows, GNOME et KDE. Le support de l'installation de plugins permet d'\u00e9largir facilement les fonctionnalit\u00e9s de Pidgin, et la mise en \u0153uvre du support de base des protocoles dans une biblioth\u00e8que distincte libpurple permet de cr\u00e9er des impl\u00e9mentations personnalis\u00e9es bas\u00e9es sur les technologies Pidgin (par exemple, Adium pour macOS).<\/p>\n

Cette version sera la derni\u00e8re de la branche 2.X.0, et toutes les forces des d\u00e9veloppeurs seront concentr\u00e9es sur Pidgin 3.0<\/a><\/noindex>. Parmi modifications<\/a><\/noindex> les nouveaut\u00e9s de cette version, on note la prise en charge de la gestion des flux XMPP (XEP-0198 Stream Management), la correction des fuites de m\u00e9moire dans les r\u00e9sultats de recherche, la prise en charge de l'indication du nom du serveur (SNI) dans GnuTLS, de nombreuses am\u00e9liorations dans le fonctionnement des vid\u00e9oconf\u00e9rences et la prise en charge du partage d'\u00e9cran via XDP Portal lors de l'utilisation de Wayland.
