Podman est une alternative au projet Docker et permet de g\u00e9rer des conteneurs sans le besoin d'un service syst\u00e8me en arri\u00e8re-plan et sans n\u00e9cessiter de droits root.<\/p>\n<p><\/noindex><\/noindex><\/p>\n<p>Pour l'utilisateur final, les changements seront pratiquement imperceptibles, cependant, dans certains cas, le format des donn\u00e9es json changera.<\/p>\n<p>La principale diff\u00e9rence de la deuxi\u00e8me version est un API REST compl\u00e8tement fonctionnel. Une impl\u00e9mentation exp\u00e9rimentale de l'API bas\u00e9e sur varlink \u00e9tait \u00e9galement disponible dans la premi\u00e8re branche, mais dans la nouvelle version, elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 compl\u00e8tement retravaill\u00e9e. Au lieu de l'interface varlink, un API HTTP standard est d\u00e9sormais utilis\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Le nouvel API REST comporte deux couches : une interface vers les fonctions de la biblioth\u00e8que libpod et une couche de compatibilit\u00e9 qui impl\u00e9mente partiellement les fonctions de l'API Docker.
