La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 IBM a annonc\u00e9 un kit d'outils pour mettre en \u0153uvre la technologie de cryptage compl\u00e8tement homomorphe (FHE) pour les syst\u00e8mes d'exploitation bas\u00e9s sur Linux (pour les architectures IBM Z et x86).<\/p>\n

Auparavant disponible pour macOS et iOS, le kit d'outils FHE d'IBM est maintenant publi\u00e9 pour Linux. La distribution se fait sous forme de conteneurs Docker pour trois distributions : CentOS, Fedora et Ubuntu Linux.<\/p>\n

Qu'est-ce qui est sp\u00e9cial dans la technologie du chiffrement enti\u00e8rement homomorphe ? Cette technologie permet de chiffrer \u00e0 la fois des donn\u00e9es statiques et des donn\u00e9es modifiables (chiffrement \u00ab \u00e0 la vol\u00e9e \u00bb) gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un chiffrement \u00ab omnipr\u00e9sent \u00bb (pervasive encryption). Ainsi, le FHE permet de travailler avec des donn\u00e9es sans avoir \u00e0 les d\u00e9chiffrer.<\/p>\n

De plus, le syst\u00e8me Data Privacy Passports (syst\u00e8me consolid\u00e9 de protection de l'information) permet aux clients d'IBM Z d'\u00e9tablir des permissions pour le traitement des donn\u00e9es par des personnes sp\u00e9cifiques via un m\u00e9canisme de contr\u00f4le des droits d'acc\u00e8s et de r\u00e9voquer l'acc\u00e8s aux donn\u00e9es m\u00eame lors de leur transmission.<\/p>\n

Comme l'indique IBM dans son communiqu\u00e9 de presse : \u00ab Initialement propos\u00e9e par des math\u00e9maticiens dans les ann\u00e9es 1970, puis d\u00e9montr\u00e9e pour la premi\u00e8re fois en 2009, la technologie du chiffrement enti\u00e8rement homomorphe est devenue un moyen unique de prot\u00e9ger la confidentialit\u00e9 des informations. L'id\u00e9e est simple : vous pouvez d\u00e9sormais traiter des donn\u00e9es confidentielles sans avoir \u00e0 les d\u00e9chiffrer au pr\u00e9alable. En d'autres termes, vous ne pouvez pas voler d'informations si vous ne pouvez pas les comprendre. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Pour les clients d'IBM Z (s390x), la premi\u00e8re version du kit d'outils FHE pour Linux ne prend en charge que Ubuntu et Fedora, tandis que pour les plateformes x86, cet outil fonctionne \u00e9galement sur CentOS.<\/p>\n

Entre-temps, IBM a exprim\u00e9 sa confiance que les d\u00e9veloppeurs exp\u00e9riment\u00e9s, bien familiaris\u00e9s avec Docker, pourront facilement porter l'outil FHE d'IBM vers d'autres distributions GNU\/Linux. Chaque version du kit d'outils permet aux utilisateurs d'acc\u00e9der \u00e0 un environnement IDE (Integrated Development Environment) int\u00e9gr\u00e9 via un navigateur web install\u00e9 sur leur syst\u00e8me d'exploitation.<\/p>\n
