Lors de la conf\u00e9rence XDC2020 (Conf\u00e9rence des d\u00e9veloppeurs X.Org) d\u00e9clar\u00e9<\/a><\/noindex> concernant l'engagement de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 ARM dans le processus de d\u00e9veloppement du projet Panfrost<\/a><\/noindex>, qui d\u00e9veloppe un pilote ouvert pour les c\u0153urs graphiques Mali. La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 ARM a exprim\u00e9 sa volont\u00e9<\/a><\/noindex> de fournir aux d\u00e9veloppeurs du pilote les informations et la documentation n\u00e9cessaires pour mieux comprendre le mat\u00e9riel et se concentrer sur le d\u00e9veloppement, sans perdre de temps \u00e0 d\u00e9chiffrer des \u00e9nigmes \u00e0 travers l'ing\u00e9nierie inverse des pilotes binaires. Cela s'est d\u00e9j\u00e0 produit pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment avec la participation de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Qualcomm au projet Freedreno<\/a><\/noindex>, qui d\u00e9veloppe un pilote libre pour le GPU Qualcomm Adreno.<\/p>\n

La participation de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 ARM aidera \u00e0 rendre la mise en \u0153uvre stable pr\u00eate pour une utilisation g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9e et \u00e0 garantir un meilleur support des instructions internes sp\u00e9cifiques au GPU Mali gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la fourniture d'informations sur l'architecture des puces directement. La disponibilit\u00e9 de la documentation interne permettra \u00e9galement d'atteindre des performances maximales, une conformit\u00e9 totale avec les sp\u00e9cifications et de couvrir toutes les capacit\u00e9s disponibles des GPU Midgard et Bifrost.<\/p>\n
