Pr\u00e9sent\u00e9<\/a><\/noindex> version du serveur d'affichage Mir 2.1<\/a><\/noindex>, dont le d\u00e9veloppement se poursuit par Canonical, malgr\u00e9 l'abandon de l'interface Unity et de la version Ubuntu pour smartphones. Mir reste recherch\u00e9 dans les projets de Canonical et est d\u00e9sormais positionn\u00e9 comme une solution pour les dispositifs int\u00e9gr\u00e9s et l'Internet des objets (IoT). Mir peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 en tant que serveur de composition pour Wayland, ce qui permet d'ex\u00e9cuter dans des environnements bas\u00e9s sur Mir toutes les applications utilisant Wayland (par exemple, compil\u00e9es avec GTK3\/4, Qt5 ou SDL2). Des paquets d'installation ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9par\u00e9s pour Ubuntu 18.04-20.10 (PPA<\/a><\/noindex>Deep Speech Fedora 30\/31\/32<\/a><\/noindex>. La nouvelle version am\u00e9liore le fonctionnement avec le protocole Wayland et ajoute la prise en charge de nouveaux protocoles exp\u00e9rimentaux : zwp_linux_dmabuf_unstable_v1<\/a><\/noindex> pour la cr\u00e9ation de buffers wl_buffers utilisant le m\u00e9canisme DMABUF et wlr-foreign-toplevel-management<\/a><\/noindex> pour connecter des panneaux et des commutateurs de fen\u00eatres personnalis\u00e9s. La prise en charge de linux-dmabuf a permis de r\u00e9soudre les probl\u00e8mes de rendu sur les cartes Raspberry Pi 4, et wlr-foreign-toplevel-management a \u00e9largi les capacit\u00e9s de l'environnement de bureau. L'impl\u00e9mentation du protocole a \u00e9t\u00e9 mise \u00e0 jour wlr_layer_shell_v1<\/a><\/noindex>, propos\u00e9 par les d\u00e9veloppeurs de l'environnement de bureau Sway, et utilis\u00e9 lors du portage de l'environnement de bureau MATE sur Wayland. <\/p>\n

Parmi les changements non li\u00e9s \u00e0 Wayland, on note l'ajout de la prise en charge de la carte Raspberry Pi 4, la r\u00e9solution des probl\u00e8mes de performance sur la plateforme Mir-on-Wayland, l'am\u00e9lioration du lancement des applications X11 via Xwayland et la possibilit\u00e9 d'ajouter des applications X11 dans des environnements de bureau configur\u00e9s, comme egmde-confined-desktop.<\/p>\n
