Un des clients de Microsoft Azure s'est indign\u00e9 du manque de respect pour la confidentialit\u00e9 et les donn\u00e9es personnelles chez Microsoft et Canonical. Trois heures apr\u00e8s avoir install\u00e9 Ubuntu sur Azure, un message est arriv\u00e9 sur LinkedIn de la part du service commercial de Canonical, contenant des offres promotionnelles li\u00e9es \u00e0 l'utilisation d'Ubuntu en entreprise. Le message pr\u00e9cisait clairement qu'il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 envoy\u00e9 apr\u00e8s que l'utilisateur ait install\u00e9 Ubuntu sur Azure. <\/p>\n

Microsoft a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que l'accord avec les \u00e9diteurs qui publient des produits sur Azure Marketplace implique le partage d'informations sur les utilisateurs ayant lanc\u00e9 leur produit dans le cloud. L'accord permet d'utiliser les informations obtenues pour fournir une assistance technique, mais interdit l'utilisation d'informations d\u00e9taill\u00e9es sur les donn\u00e9es de contact \u00e0 des fins marketing. En se connectant \u00e0 Azure, l'utilisateur accepte les conditions de service. <\/p>\n

Canonical a confirm\u00e9 avoir re\u00e7u les coordonn\u00e9es de l'utilisateur qui a lanc\u00e9 Ubuntu sur Azure de Microsoft dans le cadre de l'accord avec les \u00e9diteurs. Les donn\u00e9es personnelles mentionn\u00e9es ont \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9es dans le CRM de l'entreprise. Un des nouveaux employ\u00e9s du service commercial a utilis\u00e9 ces informations pour contacter l'utilisateur sur LinkedIn, en formulant incorrectement sa proposition. Afin d'\u00e9viter de tels incidents, Canonical pr\u00e9voit de revoir sa politique de vente et les m\u00e9thodes de formation du personnel commercial.
