Le syst\u00e8me est con\u00e7u comme un module pour le noyau Linux et est distribu\u00e9 sous la licence GPLv2.      <\/p>\n<p>La branche drbd 9.1.0 peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e pour un remplacement transparent de drbd 9.0.x et est enti\u00e8rement compatible au niveau du protocole, des fichiers de configuration et des utilitaires. Les modifications se r\u00e9sument \u00e0 une refonte du m\u00e9canisme de verrouillage et visent \u00e0 r\u00e9duire la concurrence pour l'acquisition de verrou dans le code responsable des entr\u00e9es\/sorties dans DRBD. Ce changement a permis d'am\u00e9liorer les performances dans les configurations avec un grand nombre de CPU et des disques NVMe, en \u00e9liminant le goulot d'\u00e9tranglement qui affectait n\u00e9gativement les performances lors de la r\u00e9ception d'un grand nombre de requ\u00eates d'entr\u00e9e\/sortie en parall\u00e8le provenant de diff\u00e9rents c\u0153urs CPU. Par ailleurs, la branche drbd 9.1.0 est similaire \u00e0 la version 9.0.28.       <\/p>\n<p>Rappelons que DRBD peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 pour regrouper les disques des n\u0153uds de cluster en un unique stockage tol\u00e9rant aux pannes. Pour les applications et le syst\u00e8me, ce stockage appara\u00eet comme un dispositif de bloc identique pour tous les syst\u00e8mes. Lors de l'utilisation de DRBD, toutes les op\u00e9rations sur le disque local sont envoy\u00e9es vers d'autres n\u0153uds et synchronis\u00e9es avec les disques d'autres machines. En cas de panne d'un n\u0153ud, le stockage continuera automatiquement de fonctionner gr\u00e2ce aux n\u0153uds restants. Lorsque le n\u0153ud d\u00e9faillant redevient disponible, son \u00e9tat sera automatiquement mis \u00e0 jour pour refl\u00e9ter la situation actuelle.     <\/p>\n<p>Le cluster qui forme le stockage peut comprendre plusieurs dizaines de n\u0153uds, situ\u00e9s \u00e0 la fois dans le r\u00e9seau local et g\u00e9ographiquement r\u00e9partis dans diff\u00e9rentes <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/fr\/kompaniya\/data-centers\/\"   title=\"centres de donn\u00e9es\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"4641\">centres de donn\u00e9es<\/a>. La synchronisation dans de tels stockages d\u00e9centralis\u00e9s s'effectue \u00e0 l'aide de technologies de r\u00e9seau maill\u00e9 (les donn\u00e9es circulent en cha\u00eene d'un n\u0153ud \u00e0 l'autre). La r\u00e9plication des n\u0153uds peut se faire en mode synchronis\u00e9 ou asynchrone. Par exemple, les n\u0153uds localement situ\u00e9s peuvent utiliser la r\u00e9plication synchronis\u00e9e, alors que pour les sites distants, une r\u00e9plication asynchrone avec compression et
