Des versions corrig\u00e9es du syst\u00e8me de gestion de version distribu\u00e9 Git 2.30.2, 2.17.6, 2.18.5, 2.19.6, 2.20.5, 2.21.4, 2.22.5, 2.23.4, 2.24.4, 2.25.5, 2.26.3, 2.27.1, 2.28.1 et 2.29.3 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9es, rem\u00e9diant \u00e0 une vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 (CVE-2021-21300) permettant l'ex\u00e9cution de code \u00e0 distance lors du clonage d'un d\u00e9p\u00f4t malveillant en utilisant la commande \u00ab git clone \u00bb. Tous les versions de Git \u00e0 partir de la version 2.15 sont vuln\u00e9rables. <\/p>\n

Le probl\u00e8me se manifeste lors de l'utilisation des op\u00e9rations de checkout diff\u00e9r\u00e9es, qui sont appliqu\u00e9es dans certains filtres de nettoyage, par exemple dans Git LFS. L'exploitation de la vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 n'est possible que sur des syst\u00e8mes de fichiers qui ne font pas la distinction entre les majuscules et les minuscules mais qui prennent en charge les liens symboliques, tels que NTFS, HFS+ et APFS (c'est-\u00e0-dire sur les plateformes Windows et macOS). <\/p>\n

Comme solution de contournement, il est possible de d\u00e9sactiver la gestion des liens symboliques dans Git en ex\u00e9cutant \u00ab git config --global core.symlinks false \u00bb, ou de d\u00e9sactiver le support des filtres de processus avec la commande \u00ab git config --show-scope --get-regexp 'filter\\..*\\.process' \u00bb. Il est \u00e9galement recommand\u00e9 d'\u00e9viter de cloner des d\u00e9p\u00f4ts non v\u00e9rifi\u00e9s.
