Pokušaj stvaranja analoga ASH-a za PostgreSQL

Formuliranje problema

Za optimizaciju PostgreSQL upita vrlo je potrebna sposobnost analize povijesti aktivnosti, posebno čekanja, zaključavanja i statistike tablice.

Dostupne mogućnosti

Alat za povijesnu analizu radnog opterećenja ili "AWR za Postgres": vrlo zanimljivo rješenje, ali nema povijesti pg_stat_activity i pg_locks.

pgsentinel proširenje :
«Sve prikupljene informacije pohranjuju se samo u RAM, a potrošena količina memorije regulirana je brojem zadnjih pohranjenih zapisa.

Dodano je polje queryid - isti queryid iz proširenja pg_stat_statements (potrebna predinstalacija).«

To bi, naravno, puno pomoglo, ali najproblematičnija je prva točka.”Sve prikupljene informacije pohranjuju se samo u RAM-u “, tj. postoji utjecaj na ciljnu bazu. Osim toga, nema povijesti zaključavanja i tablične statistike. Oni. rješenje je generalno govoreći nepotpuno: “Još nema gotovog paketa za instalaciju. Predlaže se preuzimanje izvora i samostalno sastavljanje biblioteke. Najprije trebate instalirati paket “devel” za vaš poslužitelj i postaviti put do pg_config u varijabli PATH.".

Općenito, frka je velika, a kod ozbiljnih produkcijskih baza možda se ne može ništa napraviti sa serverom. Opet treba smisliti nešto svoje.

Upozorenje.

Zbog dosta velikog obima i zbog nepotpunog razdoblja testiranja, članak je uglavnom informativne prirode, više kao skup teza i međurezultata.

Nacrt zahtjeva za rješenje

Potrebno je razviti alat koji vam omogućuje pohranu:

pg_stat_activity pregled povijesti
Povijest zaključavanja sesije pomoću pogleda pg_locks

Zahtjev rješenja– minimizirati utjecaj na ciljanu bazu podataka.

Generalna ideja– agent za prikupljanje podataka se ne pokreće u ciljnoj bazi podataka, već u bazi podataka za praćenje kao systemd usluga. Da, moguć je određeni gubitak podataka, ali to nije kritično za izvješćivanje, ali nema utjecaja na ciljanu bazu podataka u smislu memorije i prostora na disku. A u slučaju korištenja skupa veza, utjecaj na korisničke procese je minimalan.

Za pohranjivanje tablica koristi se zasebna shema, kako se ne bi komplicirala analiza glavnih korištenih tablica.

Budući da u ovom slučaju nema zahtjeva za brzinom umetanja, stvoreni su neki indeksi koji ubrzavaju izradu izvješća.

Povijest blokiranja sesije

Tablica se koristi za pohranjivanje trenutnih snimaka zaključavanja sesije:

Budući da u ovom slučaju nema zahtjeva za brzinom umetanja, stvoreni su neki indeksi koji ubrzavaju izradu izvješća.

2. Ispunjavanje trenutne povijesti

Za izravno prikupljanje snimaka pogleda koristi se bash skripta koja pokreće funkciju plpgsql.

plpgsql Funkcija dblink pristupa prikazima u ciljnoj bazi podataka i umeće retke u servisne tablice u bazi podataka za praćenje.

Stoga se povijest pregleda prikuplja u obliku snimaka sekunde po sekundu. Naravno, ako sve ostane kako jest, stolovi će se vrlo brzo povećati i više ili manje produktivan rad postat će nemoguć.

Potrebno je organizirati arhiviranje podataka.

3. Povijest arhiviranja

Za arhiviranje se koriste particionirane tablice archive*.

Nove se particije stvaraju svakih sat vremena, dok se stari podaci uklanjaju iz tablica povijesti*, tako da se veličina tablica povijesti* ne mijenja mnogo, a brzina umetanja ne opada tijekom vremena.

Kreiranje novih odjeljaka vrši plpgsql funkcija activity_hist.archive_current_activity. Algoritam rada je vrlo jednostavan (na primjeru odjeljka za tablicu archive_pg_stat_activity).

Naravno, s vremena na vrijeme stare rubrike se brišu kao nepotrebne.

Osnovna izvješća

Zapravo, zašto se sve to radi? Za dobivanje izvješća koja vrlo nejasno podsjećaju na Oracleov AWR.

Važno je dodati da za primanje izvješća morate izgraditi vezu između pogleda pg_stat_activity i pg_stat_statements. Tablice su povezane dodavanjem stupca 'queryid' u tablice 'history_pg_stat_activity', 'archive_pg_stat_activity'. Metoda dodavanja vrijednosti stupca je izvan opsega ovog članka i opisana je ovdje − pg_stat_statements + pg_stat_activity + loq_query = pg_ash? .
