Tvrtka Avast objavila je rezultate istra\u017eivanja kompromitacije servera mongolske certifikacijske ustanove MonPass, \u0161to je dovelo do implementacije backdoora u aplikaciju koja se nudi klijentima. Analiza je pokazala da je infrastruktura kompromitirana putem hakiranja jednog od javnih web servera MonPass na temelju platforme Windows. Na tom serveru otkriveni su tragovi osam razli\u010ditih hakiranja, nakon \u010dega su instalirana osam webshell-a i backdoora za daljinski pristup. <\/p>\n
Me\u0111u tim su zlonamjernim promjenama bile i one u slu\u017ebenom klijentskom softveru, koji je isporu\u010divan s backdoorom od 8. velja\u010de do 3. o\u017eujka. Pri\u010da je zapo\u010dela kada je, kao odgovor na pritu\u017ebu klijenta, tvrtka Avast potvrdila postojanje zlonamjernih promjena u instalatoru koji se distribuira putem slu\u017ebene web stranice MonPass. Nakon obavijesti o problemu, zaposlenici MonPass dali su Avastu pristup kopiji diskovne slike kompromitiranog poslu\u017eitelja<\/a> radi analize incidenta.
